CHALLENGE

A major multinational in the international transport sector was facing reputational challenges due to deliberate leaks from competitors alleging payment delays. This had caused unrest within the company’s internal channels and hindered its expansion plans, creating uncertainty in both the banking sector and the broader market.

PROPOSAL

The Queen conducted a reputational audit and designed a six-month strategic plan, updated every 30 days.

Preventive crisis management protocols were established, a strong corporate narrative was crafted and adapted to each of the company’s markets, and an institutional relations strategy was promoted with a twofold objective: to consolidate relationships with stakeholders capable of influencing the company’s short and medium-term performance–positively or negatively–and driving new business opportunities.

RESULT

Direct communication channels were established with internal audiences, customers, and suppliers, without intermediaries. An intensive round of engagements was initiated with the leadership of specialized and general media outlets to promote the visibility of the company’s projects in Africa, the United States, and Europe.

At the same time, a parallel series of contacts was initiated with public, governmental, and legislative institutions to strengthen public-private collaboration on specific projects. Access to financing worth 2 million euros was generated. The Queen positioned the company and its global CEO prominently in international specialized media through an earned-media campaign with an estimated value of more than 200.000 euros. This dispelled uncertainty in markets and banking institutions, facilitating access to financing and enabling the multinational’s expansion plans to move forward.
